SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Become a key member of the software development team and develop test equipment used by engineers for most of all major manufacturers for audio/video and computer devices worldwide.

You will get exposure to new products and technologies years before they reach the market. We have the pleasure of working with technology industry leaders. You should be sharp and understand and define complex architectures and solutions. Work with multiple teams within our engineering team and across Application engineering, Product Management, Operations and Validation teams.

Duties:

·Contribute to software design and architecture of various video protocols.

·Design and test software for next generation Test and Measurement Tools.

·Write efficient and scalable code using C/C++.

·Document the design and participate in events with various video standard groups.

·Work with the test engineers to validate your features in a system test environment.

·Reproduce customer environment to reproduce any failures found and determine the cause and update the test procedures accordingly.

Technical Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise developing software for embedded platforms with 5-7+ years in C and C++.
• Linux multi-threaded development experience is required.
• Excellent software engineering skills including architectural definition, task identification, design, implementation, and test – from concept thru maintenance.
• Must be comfortable working with hardware development engineers and interfacing with hardware devices, including interrupt driven interfaces.
• A background using an efficient development process for high quality deliverables is needed.
• Strong commitment to teamwork and good communication skills.
• Bachelors degree.
• Experience with some Java, Qt and/or Python preferred.
• Linux kernel-level experience.
• Communications protocol experience needed.

• Hourly rate:$85-95 hr, Corp/Corp or W2, must be able to work On-site 3 days, Lets discuss your current situation and expectations…
