The Role

As a dedicated Field Service Representative (FSR) Analyst for our work with the Department of Defense (DOD), you will be responsible for providing onsite support in the D.C. area, delivering direct assistance to users, and helping develop valuable workflows for analysts. You will also help facilitate collaboration across a global enterprise while ensuring our customers' continued success. If you have a strong background in the DOD sector, a semi-technical background, and excellent communication skills.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide desk-side training to analysts.
• Train analysts/operators in a classroom and operational setting
• Staff the Help Desk: respond to user requests and work with the Palantir engineering team to troubleshoot issues.
• Provide feedback to the Palantir engineering team about product.
• Attend and provide assistance during daily briefings with senior leaders (inclusive of a couple of Saturday mornings per month)
• Provide support in addressing Requests for Information (RFIs) and answering questions from senior leaders.
• Identify valuable workflows for analysts and gain an understanding of their specific needs and how that can translate to Palantir product
• Aid analysts in the development and enhancement of geo-spatial tools to facilitate insights, informed decision-making, and responses to various operational questions.

Qualifications:

• Experience fusing intelligence capabilities in support of operations.
• Technical background with working knowledge of HTML, Ruby, Python and/or Java, as well hardware, networks, and server administration.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to break down, explain, and demonstrate complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
• Ability to travel domestically 25% of the time if needed
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of Excel
• Demonstrated experience working within the Department of Defense, including joint capacities and interactions with high-ranking military officials.
