Software Engineer, AI & Graph - BlueArc
Redwood City, CA 94061
About the Job
Company:
BlueArc is a seed-stage venture-backed start-up building AI automated systems that deeply research fraud, policy abuse, and anti-money laundering (AML) risks of businesses. We provide automated and high-quality risk decisioning for tech and financial services companies who have risky business customers.
Market opportunity:
2-5% of the global economy is involved in money-laundering and losses from scams are estimated at $1 trillion annually. Meanwhile $200B is spent on financial crimes compliance (FCC) globally, which results in <1% of laundered funds interdicted. Legacy Know Your Business (KYB) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) systems are limited and highly manual. BlueArc’s AI and graph are disruptive technologies for this huge market.

We’re a small, highly technical team with 20+ years of experience building highly-scalable risk systems. We’re passionate about working together to tackle hard problems and build ambitious, first-of-their-kind solutions to this important problem.

Build AI-powered algorithms for deeply researching good and bad businesses
Expand our Business Risk Knowledge Graph, mapping the relationships between business entities, people, and things
