We are actively hiring a Software Engineer with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to join our Software and Systems Solutions Division working in Chantilly, VA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Candidates shall be familiar with Scrum. The SWEs will be required to use Jira and Gitlab as part of the development environment. The SWEs will possess development skills in C++, Java, XML, and XSLT. The SWEs will need to work on VMWare hosts as well as Cloud (AWS native) environments. The SWEs will be required to interact and code with libraries like Spring IO, JAXB, and Apache Camel as well as the SOAP protocol. The SWE will need to automate software testing using Cucumber as part of feature development, and Gherkin as part of the Acceptance Criteria definition. The development and deployed environments are primarily based in Linux so experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) command line interfaces and operations is necessary.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Experience performing hands-on Full Stack development
- Advanced Java application development experience
- Messaging brokers like ActiveMQ, SQS
- Software test automation using tools like Cucumber
- Experience with SOA gateways
- Understanding of design patterns, experience with Spring Framework, developing web services utilizing RESTFul API, SOAP API
- Experience w/ troubleshooting applications and infrastructure on Linux based Operating Systems
- Experience w/ Agile tool sets (ideally Jira, Bitbucket, Gitlab, etc.)
- Experience w/ building associated automated unit and smoke tests for developed code
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies (AWS), and containerization (Kubernetes)
- Experience developing, testing and delivering applications within a DevSecOps framework

- Certifications: CompTIA Security+
