Full Stack Software Engineer
Summary:
- This is for a mid-level software engineer. You've worked a job or two and have a good understanding of your technical and career direction. You've learned how to learn and know when to ask questions or figure things out on your own. You know a tech stack or two fairly well and have your eye on learning some others better. You are comfortable completing moderately complex projects on your own given some technical direction and team collaboration.
Description:
- Degree in Computer Science preferred, but not necessarily required
- 4 - 5 years' experience in software engineering; would love to see candidates who are familiar with innovation, research, or have biomechanical experience
- Top skills required are experience with React and Python
- Soft skills include excellent communication, someone who is adaptable, and someone who is a team player
- Prior Client experience is a plus
- Will work directly with about 10 other engineers and some members of product management
- Distinguishing factors in this qualifying process will be a candidate's attitude and passion

- To be considered for this position, you should:
- Have some understanding about designing, building, and consuming reliable, secure, synchronous, and asynchronous web services for front end utilization.
- Have experience building consumer facing web ui utilizing modular and reactive ui frameworks.
- Be able to contribute to architectural design discussions, following best practices and learnings from your own failures.
- Have contributed to the software change lifecycle, source control, and review processes on a large team scale.
- Have worked in a DevOps environment where strong automation and observability are required to keep the team moving.
- Expect that you are responsible for testing and asserting the quality of your own work in an automated and repeatable fashion.
- Understand and practice agile development methodologies.
