Software Development Engineer, AWS Next Generation Developer Experience - Amazon

Description We are looking for a software development engineer for the Next Generation Developer Experience team. This individual is passionate about building services and tools for developers that leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning. You will be part of a team owning an AWS service to enhance the developer experience in the Cloud. Key job responsibilities * Translation of complex functional and technical requirements into detailed software architecture and design * Deliver software systems and features with top-notch quality, on time * Develop new technologies for monitoring production clusters * Own the software development process end-to-end, including: working with engineers and product managers to develop requirements; designing, architecting, planning, implementing, and testing new systems and features; deploying, and operating the production systems. * Mentoring junior engineers, define our technical culture, and help build a fast-growing team A day in the life In joining our team, you will get to work with a minimum of technical supervision, while playing a variety of roles as needed to respond efficiently to multiple program priorities. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
