About the Job
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Java and object-oriented programming concepts, along with proficiency in Python and Jython JavaScript frameworks. They should also possess excellent knowledge of relational databases and SQL, with hands-on experience using tools like SQLDeveloper or Toad.
In addition to technical expertise, the candidate should be well-versed in using the Eclipse IDE and have familiarity with J2EE application server platforms such as Websphere or Weblogic. Knowledge of PKI concepts and certificates, as well as web service protocols SOAP and REST, is highly desirable.
Requirements
- Good understanding and experience with JAVA and object-oriented programming concepts (Inheritance, Polymorphism, etc)
- Good understanding of python and Jython javeascript frameworks
- Very good understanding and experience with relational databases and SQL - does not have to be 4. Oracle. Experience working with SQL tools like SQLDeveloper or Toad
- Good understanding and experience using the Eclipse IDE
- Familiarity and experience with a J2EE application server platform (Websphere or Weblogic)
- Familiarity with PKI concepts and certificates
- Good understanding of web service protocols SOAP and REST
- Good understanding of working with COTS software packages
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Good communication skills and can write technical and functional requirements (user stories)
