Pay rate range - $60/hr. to $63/hr. on W2
Work Schedule - Partial remote work can be negotiated for the right candidate however the ability to work onsite is required during specific times including onboarding, validation testing, and some troubleshooting
MUST HAVE
Certified National Instruments TestStand Architect (CTA) with 2 years
At least 1 year of either production software development experience or regulated deliver (formal processes and procedures for software development)
Qualifications -
Certified National Instruments TestStand Architect (CTA) with 2 years experience with framework customization/development OR equivalent experience (4+ years as TestStand power user including framework customization/development, Certified National Instruments TestStand Developer (CTD) status not required in this case).
Certified National Instruments LabVIEW Architect (CLA) with 2 years experience with complex / multi-threaded LabVIEW software frameworks, or equivalent experience (4+ years as LabVIEW Software developer, Certified National Instruments LabVIEW Developer (CLD) status not required in this case).
Experience must also involve coding for production tools/coding for regulated industries where the coding approach (requirement writing, feature tracking, source code control, code review, deployment validation, user documentation, bug ticketing) is key to the software development and maintenance process.
prefers BS in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field plus five years of progressively responsible experience in the specialty
Job Description
Review customer feedback and feature requests to, implement, document, and validate robust, backward-compatible bug fixes and new features for deployment within existing large-scale, business-critical production test software framework.
Framework software runs on Windows OS and intensively leverages National Instruments TestStand, National Instruments LabVIEW, and various .NET, AWS, Powershell, and Python customization to integrate with broad ecosystem of production services.
Distill and prioritize customer requests into implementation/validation plan, and participate in stakeholder discussion around risk, when integrating new features within the overall system architecture.
Participate in, or fully own delivery of the entire software release cycle for test framework, serve as technical lead on new feature development, design of training and documentation for the broad user community, and establish best practices and procedures for long-term software usage.
Participate in some support-ticket escalations and remote troubleshooting tasks related to framework features and issues.
