Description
Daily Tasks will include but not limited to the following:
- Data Warehouse design, development, support and data mining related to new and existing complex Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) routines related to Fraud Detection/Improper Payment algorithms;
- Develop, test and implement program logic for data mining and ETL development;
- Efficiently implement ETL technical specifications from development through test, staging and production environments;
- Optimize ETL data load jobs to improve performance and automate;
- Investigating and resolving data loading and/or data integrity issues;
- Create solutions to improve system performance and availability;
- Develop and maintain logical and physical dimensional data models for data warehouse/data mart;
- Follow agency standards to ensure data accuracy and integrity through analysis and coding;
- Write clear documentation of process and data modeling and all associated tasks and documents including unit and quality assurance test plans.
- Work closely with Office of Special Investigations, Data Warehouse and Management staff to ensure clear communication between all parties.
Mandatory Qualifications
| 1. | 84 Months Experience developing fraud detection methodologies and transforming data elements into meaningful fraud detection queries and customer output |
| 2. | 84 Months experience with Unemployment Insurance. |
| 3. | 84 Months Experience developing and testing query solutions using Oracle PL/SQL query. |
| 4. | 84 Months Experience using IBM Data Stage. |
| 5. | 84 Months Experience with UNIX Shell Scripting |
| 6. | 84 Months Experience developing dimensional data models for Cognos data analytics |
| 7. | 84 Months Experience with ETL design/Data Warehouse development using PL/SQL programming |
| 8. | 84 Months Experience in tuning SQL within an Oracle environment |
| 9. | 36 Months Experience working with PPI and SSA data security requirements (working with data contained in Employee Records in a State Agency, Federal Agency or Private Organization) in a data warehouse environment. |
