Social Worker – Center for Advanced Digestive Care- Out-Patient - Full Time - Days

The Social Worker in the Center for Advanced Digestive program provides service to patients and families during a vulnerable time in the lives of patients and families. The social worker in this role will be supporting patients in the community while they adjust to new and devastating diagnosis. You will also cover patients in all areas of CADC from surgery to Oncology to general GI.  It's 8 or 9 different programs. While the focus is on 3-4 programs, you can get referrals from all of them.

This is a day shift, Monday - Friday position with rotating weekend/holiday coverage.

Preferred Criteria

• At least one year of inpatient Medical/Surgical experience 

• Discharge Planning experience

Required Criteria

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)

• New York State License as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)

Salary Range:

$82,500-$105,000/Annual
