Social Worker - IEP Therapy

Therapist owned and operated, IEP Therapy is currently looking to add a School Social Worker in the Shorewood, IL area to our team.  We currently have a full- or part-time position available for the 2024-25 school year.

School Social Worker Responsibilities:

• Provide direct school social work services to referred students
• Provide individual and group therapeutic counseling to students and their families
• Identify academic problems through analysis of factors impinging on student adjustment including factors in the home, school, and community
• Determine and implement appropriate therapeutic strategies to effect changes in behavioral/social interactions of students and their families

School Social Worker Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work
• Illinois State Social Worker License
• Illinois Professional Educator’s License with School Social Worker certification
