Mandatory Requirements

Possession of a degree in Social Work. Past experience working in the mental health field preferred.

Position Purpose:

Social Worker provides support to patients between the ages of 18 and older within an inpatient psychiatric hospital. Services include both direct clinical contact, family/community agency contact, social work consultation to other professional disciplines and the patient's assigned treatment team. Completes admission assessments as assigned. Completes specific duties as assigned by the Social Work Supervisor and the Social Work Manager to ensure operations of the social work department are conducted efficiently and effectively.
