We are currently seeking a compassionate and dynamic Social Services Director to join our team and help enhance the lives of our residents.

Position Overview:
As the Social Services Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the social services program, ensuring that our residents receive personalized, compassionate care. You will work closely with a dedicated team of caregivers, residents, and families to create a supportive and enriching environment. Your leadership will help maintain a homelike atmosphere where each individual feels respected, valued, and empowered. The AIT will assist the Administrator in the daily operations of the facility in preperation for the licensure examination. This is a great opportunity to learn while working. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement social services programs that meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents.
• Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Assess resident needs and create individualized care plans, working closely with healthcare professionals and other team members.
• Advocate for residents’ rights and ensure that their needs are met in a manner that respects their dignity.
• Provide counseling and support to residents and their families, particularly during transitions or challenging situations.
• Lead and mentor the social services team, promoting a positive, team-oriented culture.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate, up-to-date records.
• Organize and coordinate family meetings, resident activities, and events to foster a sense of community.
