About the Job
The Social Sales Manager will be responsible for inside sales methods to include but not limited to a weekly action plan which will be prepared with after action reporting, live chat, miscellaneous lead methods, networking through community events and bridal shows. Administrative duties include but not limited to contract negotiations, preparing proposals, working online referral programs, preparing contracts and banquet event orders, and at time customizing menus with the chef.
Primary Responsibilities
- Answer sales calls and walk in appointments for weddings and social event.
- Follow-up with clients on lead lists with email, phone call or post card.
- Fulfill the needs of the clients with timely correspondences or appointments.
- Responsible for contracting weddings and social business.
- Maintain an average 50% booking ratio over al. Maximize revenue by up-selling at menu appointment.
- Create menus, banquet event orders and diagram for each venue for all social events with appropriate paperwork.
- Confirm all menus a minimum of two weeks prior to the event for distribution.
- Provides personalized solutions for our clients and enhances our reputation and business by working with all departments needed to ensure we exceed clientele's expectations.
- Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
- Maintain a supply of al wedding packages, booking packets and office paperwork.
- Adheres to all sales policies, practices and procedures.
- Collaborates with DOC & DOS to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
- Understands the overall market - competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
- Views all contracts, menus and paperwork for the clients.
- Reviews all signed contracts and handles any issues/concerns with clients.
- Follow-up with new and current clients with reminders, introductory letters, and thank you letters after the event.
- Attends internal events such as Bridal Shows, Holiday Events and tradeshows.
- Organize our in-house Bridal Showcase lists and filter through afterwards to prepare for distribution of leads.
- Follow-up with own events to ensure the smooth running, on a case by case.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
- Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, computer literate; Word and Excel required.
2 % commission on food and beverage, also 10% commission on all upgrades.
Social Sales manager- $65,000 and 2 % commission on food and beverage, also 10% commission on all upgrades
