MORE ABOUT THE JOB:
Social commerce will figure prominently in SWAN’s strategy. We have strong in-house production capabilities.
The person we hire will be primarily responsible for 4 “buckets” of work:
Building the strategy/plan behind the content
Map out content calendar with monthly, weekly, daily perspectives
Determine mix of content – e.g., tutorials, reviews, testimonials
Paid and organic social campaigns
Work with influencers, ambassadors, and affiliates
Marketing tactics for engaging/activating users
LTO’s & exclusives that create a sense of urgency
Interactive elements – e.g., surveys, quizzes
- All of it based on:
Insight into beauty trends, the cultural calendar, seasonal factors
A strong grasp of various social platforms, relative strengths/weaknesses
Latest/best practices in social media
Being a collaborator in the content creation process
Partner with designers/copywriters/producers
To produce visually appealing, compelling content
Schedule, publish, and monitor posts using social media management tools
Manage/grow SWAN’s presence across Insta, TikTok and other relevant platforms
Analyze campaign performance and optimize for ROI.

Respond to comments, messages, and mentions promptly.
SOME GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Of course we’re hiring for skill se, but we’re hiring for mindset too. Start-ups by their very nature are a bit fluid and unstructured. We’re looking for someone who’s unfazed by that reality, someone who can roll with a bit of ambiguity/chaos. Someone with a “DIY” reflex, capable of picking up the ball and running with it when the need arises. Someone who’s fired up by the chance to build a brand/business from the ground up.
Proficiency with social media platforms, tools, and analytics
e.g., Meta Ads Manager, Canva, Hootsuite, Google Analytics
Experience with influencer partnerships and paid social campaigns
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Facility with analytics, turning data into a strategic course of action
