About the Job
Our client, an investment management firm located in Boston, is seeking a Social Media Specialist to join their team. This is a temporary opportunity and can compensate up to $30/hr. depending on experience. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply for immediate consideration!
Qualifications:
* Collaborate with global and regional teams (writing, design, editorial, PR) to create and manage social content, including social posts, website modules, and campaigns, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
* Manage the Social Media Content Calendar, overseeing daily posts, social strategy, and campaigns across platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.), including paid social efforts, audience development, and reporting.
* Handle ongoing social strategy, collaborate with internal partners on events and promotions, and manage the bi-weekly PR/social sync, ensuring alignment on key initiatives.
* Oversee content syndication, creative refreshes, monthly reporting, and manage the brand campaign's SharePoint site, landing page, and insights page to align with featured content.
Responsibilities:
* Bachelor's degree required.
* 1 to 2+ years of experience in social media marketing required.
* Experience with social media community management and publishing tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprinklr, and Sprout Social.
* Experience with social media publishing and regulatory platforms like SharePoint or Hearsay is a plus. (If this becomes a requirement, we can modify the second bullet above.)
* Strong analytical skills to track and interpret standard social media metrics, such as:
* Engagement: likes, shares, interactions, click-through rates; Reach: impressions, followers.
* Website traffic: sessions, new users, time on site (familiarity with Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics a plus).
* Experience executing and planning paid advertising on social media platforms.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and marketing software/tools (e.g., SharePoint).
