Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Social Media Specialist for a contract position in Arden Hill, MN. The opportunity will be one year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Position Summary: Responsible for developing the social media strategy, plan execution, social listening, and measurement across all applicable business unit channels. Collaborate with a wide variety of client's stakeholders including senior leadership, product managers, clinical, legal, digital marketing, and marketing communications.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Build social media strategic plans and content in partnership with the social media manager, marketing communications, and digital marketing, to support key business objectives
- Write, edit, and submit for Regulatory, Clinical, and Legal approval, and post content to applicable social channels (i.e. Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others if applicable)
- Advocate and communicate the established BU social media vision and strategy to key stakeholders
- Manage and measure social media programs for client
- Manage and deliver the monthly and quarterly social media reports with strategic recommendations
- Collaborate with Regulatory, Clinical, and Legal for all required approvals. Collaborate with social media and Global Digital Marketing colleagues to ensure social media programs align with broader client brand and social media requirements
- Responsible for the execution of social media plans in partnership with the agency for paid social, and in-house execution for organic social
- Evaluate and assess client key opinion leaders (KOLS) and competitors' social media presence and recommendations to enhance the client's social presence
- Monitor the client's community conversations and manage inappropriate or off-label references
- Manage patient and physician comments on client channels and route complaints and requests through appropriate pathways (if applicable)
- Manages social listening and measurement program, converting social media 'buzz' into clear and actionable market insights
- In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.

- Solves problems considering common practice or procedures; determines appropriate action by analyzing possible solutions and their impact on the business or technology using practical experience, judgment, and precedents

- Explains factual, sometimes complex, and potentially dynamic information to others in straightforward situations.
- Organizes and presents data/ information to influence decision-making, primarily to internal audiences
Qualifications:
- Must attach 2 writing samples to the submittal form & resume.
- 3-5 years of communications experience within a corporate or agency environment, preferably in health care, with an avid interest in and demonstrated knowledge of social media.
- B.A. in communications, journalism, or related field.
- Exceptional writer and storyteller, with experience in writing for traditional, online, and social media. In-depth understanding of target audiences, and expertise in high-impact messaging to broad audiences.
- Solid understanding and familiarity with new and emerging social tools and channels.
- Fluent with the various platforms' audience creation/targeting capabilities, and ability to execute paid promotions within Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter
- Ability to identify the role of social in a larger communications plan, and evaluate performance based on holistic campaign impact
- Experience developing and executing strategic communications plans and correlating metrics, utilizing both media relations and social media tactics
