As our Social Media Producer, you will be responsible for developing our social media strategy to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. This position provides a unique opportunity to creatively develop and oversee compelling content across diverse social media platforms. Your expertise will be crucial in attracting followers, fostering positive community interaction, and elevating audience engagement.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop our social media strategies that encourage engagement and increase education opportunities across current and prospective customers
- Understand the interests and behaviors of the community to ensure we continue to drive authentic, innovative content that engages, attracts, and informs followers
- Shoot and edit social-first content for organic and paid social, including short-form videos and stills, to tell the Vasion story, including being on-camera as necessary
- Creatively build new content out of existing assets, leveraging previous content in new ways, making it current and fresh
- Work with C-Suite executives to create their social media voice and brand them on LinkedIn
- Frequently travel to Lehi and St. George offices, trade shows, conferences, etc. to curate content for social media
- Manage posting calendar and copy for all organic social channels
- Uphold an outstanding brand and customer experience across media channels by actively engaging, educating, and communicating with customers
- Provide guidance, training, and oversight to others across the organization who may also engage with potential customers on social media platforms
- Work with the entire Marketing team to ensure content is aligned with campaigns, audiences, and initiatives
- Monitor brand social activity and reputation across the social media landscape
- Use social insights and listening tools to identify great opportunities for engagement
- Utilize advanced analytical skills to measure and monitor the success of social media content and campaigns, preparing detailed reports
Requirements
- 6+ years of social media experience: creating and executing social content, developing social communities, and monitoring/reporting on results
- At least 3+ years in B2B content strategy and execution experience in the Tech/SaaS industry
- Demonstrated creative production capabilities: writing, shooting, and editing, with a strong portfolio of video, audio, and other content types
- Knowledge and understanding of current social media marketing, paid and organic, digital marketing, and content marketing
- Excellent knowledge of LinkedIn, Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter/X, as well as other social media platforms and best practices
- Experience in Adobe Illustrator and/or Canva, production tools, social media reporting, and scheduling tools
- Creative approach to multi-media content with knowledge of visual design including color story, layout, photography, and typography, while staying on brand
- Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, being comfortable on camera when filming
