About the Job
SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING MANAGER,
This position will manage our social media and brand. We provide comprehensive services to People with Disabilities www.wdom.org. We are looking for someone with a strong expertise in social media, marketing and willing to learn basic WordPress to assist in website updates. Currently we focus on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn. The goal is to grow our social media and internet traffic and impact.
The Manager will deliver news about our services and advocacy and build our unique brand and grow our social media footprint.
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead strategy development, planning and execution for key social platforms.
- Write, schedule, and optimize daily social posts across multiple platforms.
- Create a monthly content calendar that highlights key initiatives, seasonal campaigns, events.
- Monitor and respond to comments and DMs on all platforms. Build a loyal community.
- Collaborate with management and staff to ensure consistency of narrative across social media platforms and website.
- Track and synthesize analytics lead to improve and refine reach across all social platforms and website.
- Manage the organization of all videos, photo assets and illustrations in an asset library.
- Other Projects as Assigned by Manager.
Qualifications & Skills
Demonstration of expertise is a must to be considered for this role.
- 2-4 years’ experience.
- Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator a must; Adobe After Effects a plus.
- Set and maintain high visual brand standards commensurate with creative expectations.
- Experience with animation and video production editing a plus.
- An exciting portfolio that showcases range of work.
- Able to follow established design language across all templates.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive in reaching out to staff to problem solve and keep projects moving forward.
- Strong work ethic and time management skills.
- Positive team spirit.
PT 3 DAYS/WEEK 5-7 HOURS PER DAY.
THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. REMOTE HYBRID POSSIBLY AFTER SIX MONTHS OF SATISFACTORY EMPLOYMENT. MUST HAVE A CAR AND A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO LOCAL PROMOTIONAL AND MARKETING MEETINGS.
SALARY $33 HOUR
