Salary Range: $50.09 - $77.03 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.
The Social Media Manager plays a crucial role in developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, educate and engage our target audience, and foster trust and credibility. You will be responsible for managing our social media accounts, creating compelling healthcare content, and staying informed about industry trends and regulations.
- Develop and execute social media strategies specifically tailored to the healthcare industry, aligning with our marketing goals and objectives.
- Manage/maintain our social media presence across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube, while adhering to healthcare regulations and privacy guidelines.
- Create/curate engaging and informative healthcare content, including articles, videos, infographics, and patient testimonials, that resonate with our target audience and provide value.
- Collaborate with medical professionals, content creators, and industry experts to ensure accurate and evidence-based healthcare information is shared on social media channels.
- Monitor industry trends, news, and research. Identify opportunities for relevant and timely content creation.
- Respond to social media comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and empathetic manner, provide accurate information/direct users to appropriate resources.
- Implement social media advertising campaigns promoting healthcare services, events, and educational resources. Target audiences, monitor campaign performance.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and adherence to healthcare regulations/compliance.
- Analyze social media metrics, engagement, reach, impressions, and conversions, tracking performance and insights to generate actionable media optimization.
- Stay up to date with healthcare regulations, privacy guidelines, and industry best practices, ensuring all social media activities adhere to legal and ethical standards.
- Monitor and manage online reputation by addressing customer reviews and feedback. Work closely with customer service teams to ensure prompt resolution of issues.
- Stay informed on emerging social media trends, features, and platforms in the healthcare industry. Recommend innovative strategies to enhance social media presence
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, healthcare management, or a related field. Relevant certifications or experience in social media management are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the marketing industry managing social media channels and content.
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns and content.
- Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative and impactful content.
- Proficient in using social media management tools, scheduling software, and analytics platforms related to social audience management.
Preferred:
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex healthcare information to a diverse audience.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to inform decision-making and optimize marketing campaigns.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
