The Social Media and Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing and executing Avondale Dealerships’ social media and content strategy to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and reputation. Reporting directly to the Digital Marketing Director, this role focuses on developing innovative campaigns, creating impactful content, and maintaining a cohesive brand voice across all platforms. This position requires hands-on expertise in producing both still and video content for social media, complementing the work of professional photographers and videographers

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
Platform Expertise and Management
- Manage day-to-day operations of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
- Stay current with platform updates, trends, and best practices to optimize performance and engagement.
- Monitor and engage with audience comments, direct messages, and tagged content to foster a positive community presence.
- Utilize social listening tools to track brand sentiment, monitor industry trends, and identify emerging opportunities or issues.
Creative Content Development
- Develop and maintain a strategic content calendar aligned with marketing objectives, product launches, events, promotions, and required manufacturer conent.
- Create, edit, and publish high-quality multimedia content (photos, graphics, videos) for social media, ensuring alignment with the luxury brand image.
- Work alongside professional photographers and videographers while also independently producing visually compelling still and video content tailored to social platforms.
- Craft engaging captions and messaging that reflect Avondale’s luxury positioning and resonate with target audiences.
Campaign Management and Brand Storytelling
- Design and execute innovative social media campaigns that drive engagement, brand awareness, and audience growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media activities with broader marketing campaigns, events, and dealership promotions.
- Ensure that all social media content and interactions reflect Avondale’s brand voice, messaging, and luxury positioning to maintain a consistent and cohesive brand identity.
- Oversee and evaluate the work of professional photographers and videographers, providing direction to ensure all content aligns with strategic goals.
Project Management and Organization
- Maintain a well-organized library of content assets, including photos, videos, and graphics, for efficient content creation and deployment.
- Balance daily content posting and engagement responsibilities while planning and managing long-term campaigns and initiatives.
- Manage and optimize the use of project management tools to ensure efficient execution of social media campaigns and deliverables.
Analytics and Reporting
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics, including engagement, reach, clicks, conversions, and follower growth.
- Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Develop strategic recommendations based on performance analytics to guide future content and campaign decisions.
- Prepare monthly performance reports for the marketing team, highlighting successes, challenges, and actionable next steps.
Trend Awareness and Innovation
- Stay informed about emerging trends, content formats, and platform features to maintain a cutting-edge social media presence.
- Experiment with innovative formats such as Reels, Stories, live streams, and interactive content to engage audiences.
- Identify and develop opportunities for partnerships with influencers, local businesses, and community figures to expand brand reach.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in social media management and content creation, preferably for luxury lifestyle or automotive brands.
Skills and Competencies
- Expertise in platform management, audience engagement, and social listening tools.
- Proficiency in creating and editing still and video content for social media using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Adobe Premiere, or similar software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to balance multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication, copywriting, and storytelling abilities, with a creative mindset and a keen eye for design.
- Collaborative team player with experience working across departments to ensure cohesive messaging and execution.
Other Requirements
- Onsite presence in Grapevine, TX, with occasional travel for events or content production.
- Valid Driver's License (must be insurable).
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and support on-location production needs.
