Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a qualified SOC Security Analyst to support a federal program based in Falls Church, VA. This position requires an active DoD Secret clearance. This role is available fully onsite on an EOW-N shift: Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/Alt Saturday 7:00 pm – 7:00 am.
Responsibilities of the SOC Security Analyst:
- Engage with senior military and government leadership, providing strong customer service
- Present ideas clearly through briefings, meetings, and interactions with leadership of different skill sets
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure tasks are progressing and meeting timelines
- Work under time constraints and adapt to changes in requirements and new projects
- Maintain and upgrade certifications
- Assimilate information rapidly and self-study new requirements
- Maintain current industry knowledge of relevant concepts, practices, and procedures
Qualifications of the SOC Security Analyst:
- 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or computer science
- Active CompTIA Security+CE and CySA+ certification
- Familiar with DoD 2875 account request processes and ACTCS training system
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Active Secret clearance
Compensation for the SOC Security Analyst:
- Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000/year *flexible based on experience*
