- Base Salary of $80,000 and Uncapped Commissions. Overall target compensation of $120,000 per year.

About the Position
Omni Fiber is seeking a dynamic and hands-on SMB Sales Manager to drive the growth and success of our business-to-business (B2B) in several key communities. As the SMB Sales Manager, you will lead both individual sales efforts and a team of sales representatives to increase customer acquisition, market penetration, and overall sales performance in assigned territories. This role blends leadership, sales strategy, and community engagement, making it an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a growing internet service provider.
You will be at the forefront of Omni Fiber's expansion, helping to build brand awareness and trust within the community while directly impacting revenue growth.
What Your Day Will Look Like
- Lead a team of sales representatives, setting clear performance goals, providing coaching, and ensuring accountability to sales targets.
- Achieve or exceed monthly sales quotas by engaging with SMB customers and business-to-business prospects to promote Omni Fiber's internet, voice, and TV services.
- Conduct face-to-face sales meetings, outbound calls, and in-office visits to close sales and grow the subscriber base.
- Represent Omni Fiber at community events, trade fairs, and local networking opportunities to generate leads and drive brand recognition.
- Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to your assigned markets, evaluating local market data to identify growth opportunities.
- Utilize performance metrics (KPIs) to track progress, optimize sales efforts, and drive successful sales campaigns across both residential and business markets.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and alignment with broader business objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives, conducting regular one-on-ones and team meetings to discuss performance, KPIs, skill development, and goal setting.
- Instill a culture of excellence, ensuring the team adheres to best practices for sales, customer engagement, and performance tracking.
- Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching to improve sales tactics, objection handling, and product knowledge.
- Work cross-functionally with the Customer Service, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure a smooth customer journey and consistent brand messaging.
- Provide regular feedback to leadership on market trends, sales challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or other related fields
- 5+ years of experience working in outside sales, B2B sales, and/or door-door sales in the telecommunications industry.
- 2+ years of recent leadership experience.
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to build and close sales opportunities in a competitive market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to create and execute sales strategies based on data-driven insights and market conditions.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with Salesforce or another CRM systems a plus.
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills and the ability to thrive in a goal-driven environment.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Willingness to travel (up to 75% of the time), with mileage reimbursement for travel outside the assigned territory.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for sales and community impact.
