About the Job
Overview:
It is the responsibility of the Slot Technician to provide fast, friendly service while performing repairs and preventative maintenance on slot machines.
- Responsible for ensuring the proper operation of all the Slot Department equipment, including, but not limited to slot devices on the casino floor.
- Complete all assignments given by management in a timely and professional manner.
- Interact with guests (internal and external) in a pleasant, professional and friendly manner.
- Handles guests’ transactions diligently and in a timely fashion
- Notify the Slot Technician Manager/Director-Slot Operations or Manager on Duty of any issue or discrepancy encountered in a timely manner.
- Maintain the security of assigned areas at all times.
- Responds to calls from the Slot Ambassadors, Slot Service Managers, Security and Surveillance.
- Perform sub-assembly removal, repair and alignment on all machines, signage, SDS equipment and any other auxiliary equipment on the floor.
- Actively perform floor walks and rectifying any issues encountered in a timely manner
- Any issues that cannot be rectified must be communicated via Turnover Log found in the tech shop. All efforts to rectify machine issues should be taken, and outcome clearly communicated to any and all applicable Team Members.
- Maintain a clean and professional shop by cleaning up after yourself and replacing all tools, parts, test equipment and manuals in their proper place when you are finished with them.
- Clean, inspect and test all machines, signage, SDS equipment and auxiliary equipment on the floor.
- Completion and communication of progress regarding any and all special projects designated by Management
- Responsible for component level repair on all processor boards, bill validators and driver boards.
- Progressive wiring for all applicable progressive controllers on the floor
- Troubleshoot any problems on the machines that cannot be resolved
- Assist in the cleaning, inspection and testing all machines, signage, SDS equipment and auxiliary equipment on the floor.
- Continued learning of industry technological advancements and standards. Such as, but not limited to, new machine troubleshooting, new machine installation, conversion processes, machine component upgrades, common machine errors etc.
- Must be able to lift and move over 100lbs with assisted equipment.
- Minimum 5 years of slot repair experience.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be able to obtain a required state Casino Employee Registration.
