Responsibilities:Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs all repairs and service requirements necessary for Slot machines components and related gaming equipment
- Supports the installation, configuration, diagnostic testing, and upgrading of all products and associated equipment, in accordance with the manufactures Operation and Service Guide, and department policies and procedures.
- Performs fault analysis, fault isolation and repair of failures in all slot machines in accordance with the manufactures Operation and Service Guide, and department policies and procedures.
- Under the direction of the Slot Technical Supervisor must be capable of building test fixtures as required to simulate actual slot machine operating requirements.
- Assists Lead Technician by acting as an Installation/Upgrade Project team member.
- Use available technical publications, and game percentage sheets to analyze game performance and advises management, and Gaming Commission representatives of possible failures resulting in player disputes.
- Ability to prioritize work requirements, meet deadlines, keep superiors informed of progress and needs required.
- Responsible for the On-the-Job training activities of Slot Tech I, Tech II, and Slot Tech Helpers.
- Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must have strong electro-mechanical skills and also be familiar with gaming machine repair and maintenance.
- Technically proficient in the operation and repair of gaming machines hardware and software.
- Effectively use manufacturer documents to troubleshoot and repair components i.e. Schematics, Principals of Operations Manuals, and Technical Manuals.
- Candidate must display a constant commitment to excellence regardless of the task or responsibility.
Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma GED required, technical training preferred, with a minimum of two (2) years of slot machine repair experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Candidate must be able to read and understand all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures. Candidate must also be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
Mathematical Skills:
Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
Must apply for, obtain and remain eligible for the appropriate Seminole Tribal Gaming License.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to; use hands, reach with hands and arms, frequently lift up to 50 pounds, talk and hear. Also required are frequent, standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, climbing steps and sitting. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
Work Environment:
May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
