Skyway Wellness Specialist - Care Delivery
Location: BROOKLYN HEIGHTS
Biweekly Hours: 80.00
Shift: 8am - 5pm

Summary:
Plans and executes the appropriate delivery and coordination of Skywell wellness programs, including identifying health needs of targeted and diverse populations, monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness, and delivery of wellness services. Participates in short and long-range health & wellness program development. Coordinates and interacts with Skywell employer wellness coordinators and Skyway team. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Community Health Education or related field or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below. Solid knowledge of current and emerging health and well-being concepts, strategies, methods and techniques. Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and written and interpersonal communication skills, including group presentation experience. Ability to work effectively with wide range of constituencies. Strong research and analytic skills. Must be proficient with PC, including the ability to compose, edit and produce reports using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications. Preferred: Experience in establishing/starting a health and wellness program. Experience in health education or health promotion in a healthcare setting. Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist or Health & Wellness Coach Physical Demand: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and walking. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer. Light physical effort. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 10 pounds.
