Responsibilities:

• Weld metal parts using MIG, TIG, Stick, or other welding techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams.
• Prepare metal surfaces by grinding, sanding, and cleaning prior to welding.
• Inspect finished welds for accuracy, strength, and compliance with standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair of welding equipment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a welder in a commercial and Industrial construction environment.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
• Strong understanding of welding safety practices and guidelines.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, CWB) is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently or in a team, and under tight deadlines.
