Position Title: CNC Machinist

Wage: Up to $35.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Looking for a new opportunity in Earth City, MO area? We are looking for machinists, programming will be a plus willing to pay up to $35+ depending on experience. This is a direct hire opportunity, must be able to pass background check and drug screen. 

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
- Fabricate prototype parts as directed
- Test for fit and function of prototype assemblies
- Recommend changes to design to allow for machinability and function
- Create or update machine shop drawings to meet machine shop requirements
- Fabricate production parts according to specifications and drawings
- Maintain setup sheets, notes, and fixtures to assure repeatable manufacturing of CNC parts
- Perform setup and operation of CNC and manual machining equipment
- Write, test, and update G-code programs for machine parts using MasterCAM
- Organize and maintain G-code files and file structure
- Purchase and maintain necessary inventory of raw materials
- Maintain a clean, clutter-free workshop
- Clean, lubricate, and perform preventive maintenance on machine shop equipment
- Maintain tooling inventory. Return tools no longer in use to the proper location
- Check fit, function, and tolerances of in-house and outsourced machined parts to assure quality
- Follow all systems and processes used for part inspection, inventory tracking, and non-compliance
- Check tooling tolerances and replace as necessary
- Perform all job duties in a manner that will enable projects to be delivered on time, within budget, and with the appropriate level of quality to meet the required specifications
- Constantly strive to improve systems efficiency in all aspects of position

Requirements for CNC Machinist:
- 5+ years of experience as a machinist
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Self-starter with good organizational skills
- Able to function in a deadline driven environment
- Able to multi-task and manage multiple projects
- Strong attention to detail
