As a Skilled Carpenter at Loudoun Basements, you'll be instrumental in shaping stunning, functional basements. Beyond carpentry expertise, this role calls for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is excited to share their knowledge with our team. You'll work on diverse tasks, from framing to finishing carpentry, and will occasionally step into other areas like concrete patching and light electrical work, making adaptability a must.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform both rough and finish carpentry with precision and skill.
• Frame walls, hang doors, install crown molding, baseboards, and custom built-ins.
• Collaborate with the project manager to complete projects on time and within quality standards.
• Occasionally assist with non-carpentry tasks, including concrete patching, window setting, and light electrical work.
• Maintain clear communication with clients on project updates and address their inquiries professionally.
• Act as a mentor for junior carpenters, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.

Qualifications

• Proven carpentry experience with a minimum of 10 years, ideally with both rough and finish carpentry expertise.
• A strong understanding of residential remodeling techniques and materials.
• Proficiency in framing, finishing, and basic installation skills for various elements.
• Knowledge of BuilderTrend project management software (or willingness to learn).
• Willingness to perform additional construction tasks as needed.
• Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in English (Spanish is a plus).
• Integrity, reliability, and a desire to work in a team-focused, growth-driven environment.
