SK166 - Full Time Housekeeper - West Village, NY - British American Household Staffing

A lovely family of four in the West Village, NYC is seeking a full-time, live-out housekeeper to start ASAP. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, 10am-6pm, for 40 hours per week guaranteed. There is some flexibility on start and end times for the right candidate. The family has two older children who have their own nanny, and 1 large dog, so the housekeeper must be comfortable around kids and dogs. The family has a second home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and the housekeeper will be expected to join them there for anywhere from 3-6 weeks during the summer, during this time the housekeeper will live-in but their hours will remain the same. Traveling over vacations is not required but a plus!

• Vacuuming/dusting
• Cleaning kitchen
• Grocery shopping
• Deep-cleaning bathrooms
• Washing and ironing linens
  
• Making beds
• Laundry with particular attention to washing instructions
• Ironing clothing (including men's shirts)
• Meal preparation
  
• Maintaining organization of pantry and closets

• Honest, trustworthy, reliable
• Hard working - has a good work ethic
• Can cook - follow a recipe and prepare simple dinners
• Dog-sitting when the family is away is a plus but not required!
• Can read the room and know when to chat and when to quietly work
• Fully vaccinated is preferred

• At least 5 years of experience as a housekeeper
• Experienced with ironing and laundering
  
• Must be available to spend a chunk of time in Jackson Hole, Wyoming during the summer as a live-in housekeeper
  
• Must be ok working with a large dog - he is very sweet and friendly
• Must be seeking a long-term position
  

• Hourly rate is $35-$40 gross, based on experience
• Standard benefits offered - 2 weeks paid vacation, 4 sick days, federal holidays, overtime paid at time and a half
