Job Summary
- The Six Sigma Process Engineer will oversee organizational-level performance improvement projects, driving continuous improvement through the application of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and an engineering mindset. This role requires a deep understanding of process flow and optimization, project management, and statistical analysis to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. The Six Sigma Process Engineer will play a critical role in helping senior leaders identify improvement opportunities, implementing solutions, and ensuring sustainable results across various departments. This position does not directly manage the Performance Improvement team members but provides oversight and guidance on organizational improvement projects
Job Requirements
- Education
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial, Process, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Preferred: Master’s degree
- Experience
- Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading large, organization-level process improvement projects. Preferably 10 years of experience.
- Preferred: Proven track record of implementing successful Six Sigma projects in a large organization.
- Skills
- Expertise in Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in process improvement software and tools
