Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services is seeking an experienced Site Survey Engineer. The Site Survey Engineer is a member of the Site Survey workstream, responsible for the intake, scheduling, coordination, and execution of all site surveys. As a member of the site survey team, the Engineer is responsible for the site survey, design, and BOM creation of customer site installations following the findings from the site survey.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with stakeholders to design the network infrastructure, taking pre-existing systems into consideration,
- Generate bill of materials (BOM), provide necessary details to other teams like the deployment team, logistics team to coordinate equipment ordering and execute local installation and configuration.
- Provide support needed during deployment activities.
Here's what you need:
- Recommended to have completed undergraduate Computer Science or Technical degree or apprenticeship degree.
- 4+ years of Infrastructure, Networking technology background to include:
- TCP/IP fundamentals (e.g. DNS, FTP, SSH, ACL, VLAN, DMZ, BGP),
- Networking technologies, network architecture and connectivity troubleshooting
- Network cable types cat 5, cat 6 (copper), ST, FC, SC, LC duplex, MT-RJ (fiber optic)
- Workstation video and USB connector types and converters
- TEMPEST guidelines as they apply to LAN systems
- Comms architectures with a Demark, comms closet, and boundaries in a secure environment
- Hosting providers, online services, or internet service provider environment
- Troubleshooting routing, switching, and load balancing in a complex networking environment.
- 2+ years of experience performing packet capture analysis.
- 2+ years working in a Sap Environment and systems and facility accreditations.
- 100% onsite when not traveling
- Must be able to travel up to 75% CONUS
- Must have valid US Passport

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
