Key Responsibilities
Client Support:
- Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
- Provide direction to design and construction teams and ensure client vision is accurately reflected in project deliverables.
- Identify risks and implement proactive solutions.
- Oversee cost control and change management processes to protect the client's budget.
Project Delivery:
- Lead projects in technical and dynamic environments, ensuring sustainable and forward-thinking solutions.
- Manage RFPs, bid analysis, and vendor selection.
- Provide insight on designs, cost estimates, schedules, and contracts to drive value for the project team.
- Oversee construction processes to meet timelines and maintain quality standards.
- Manage project closeout and commissioning to ensure a seamless project conclusion.
Contract and Resource Management:
- Negotiate contracts and change orders with vendors to ensure fair and beneficial agreements.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules from start to finish.
- Ensure full compliance with contract terms and assist with lease negotiations as needed.
Business Development:
- Represent Intersect Management at industry events to expand business networks and market reach.
- Build new client relationships and support business development initiatives.
- Stay current on industry trends through professional events and continued learning opportunities.

Job Requirements: Construction Project Manager
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in construction project management, real estate development, or related fields, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects from inception to completion.
- Project Management Expertise: Extensive experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong understanding of project life cycles, budgeting, scheduling, and risk mitigation.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with construction software, project management tools, and contract administration processes.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and provide mentorship to junior staff.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate project goals, timelines, and expectations to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Client Management: Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships, manage expectations, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies, codes, regulations, and sustainability practices.
- Business Development: Experience supporting business growth initiatives, including relationship-building and identifying new opportunities. A passion for business development and networking is a strong plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED AP, PE) are highly desirable.
- Experience managing nationwide projects and coordinating across multiple sites.
