About the Job
VitalSkin Dermatology in Creve Coeur & Des Peres, MO is seeking a Site Manager to ensure that the workflow of the offices are functioning correctly and staff & providers have the resources they need to serve the patients. This Site Manager will report to the Director of Operations with a matrix reporting to the Physician Site leader.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years leadership experience in Medical office or other healthcare setting
- Must possess critical thinking skills, flexibility and a positive attitude
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Familiarity of third-party payer systems: Medicare, Medicaid, commercial and Department of Health programs.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting/standing and working at a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15lbs at times
Specific Responsibilities
- Conducts staffing (recruitment) interviews
- Monitoring the training and development of all new hires
- Conducts introductory period meetings to review performance (weekly)
- Review clinical schedules daily to assure accuracy
- Perform performance coaching for staff
- Scheduling of staff, including PTO coverage
- Create and adjust provider templates/blocks as directed by physician site leader
- Monitor task queue for outstanding items
- Monitor daily patient flow, assisting when needed
- Contact resources for equipment maintenance or replacement
- Assist in building maintenance or repairs
- Ordering of clinical/clerical supplies
- Support monthly/quarterly inventory documentation
- Facilitator of daily huddles
- Mail distribution
- Ensure end of day function are completed including daily batch closing and bank deposits
- Main back up while PM is out of office
- Other duties as assigned by the PM
