An expanding manufacturer is searching for an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager to join their Georgetown, KY leadership team. With a strong presence in their market, this organization takes pride in innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction. The HR Manager reports to the Plant Manager and leads an HR team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions for 400 team members at the Georgetown facility, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive relationship with the workforce. Highlighted Duties:
- Work closely with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Promote positive employee relations, “walk the floor”, and investigate employee concerns.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process and develop action plans to drive retention/engagement.
- Manage employee data, provide decision support through HR metrics, and prepare reports as needed.
- Locally manage benefits program, compliance and government reporting requirements.
- Oversee workplace investigations, disciplinary actions including terminations, and ensure consistency in the application of policies to resolve conflict.
- Nurture a positive, continue improvement, and safety focused work environment.
Highlighted Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience as a HR Manager in a manufacturing environment.
- A motivated and self-directed individual.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Extensive HRIS and Excel experience.
- Safety experience a plus.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
