Key responsibilities:
- Develop strong relationships with the senior leadership team and provide effectively, value-added support to the leadership team that is focused on enabling business performance.
- Understand the strategic business objectives and contribute to the creation, execution, and ongoing development and financial support of that strategy.
- Prepare and maintain company budget and forecast to include project costing and project profitability based on actuals and estimates to complete, labor planning, capital expenditure budgets, IR&D spending, and indirect cost budgeting totaling to a full company forecast on a month, quarter, and year to date basis with forward-looking forecast on a 5-year term.
- Present monthly financial results and analysis to site and group leadership and track financial metrics compared to established goals.
- Perform budget vs actuals variance analysis with monthly forecast updates. Perform full-cycle accounting including full balance sheet reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and labor distribution producing monthly financial statements to include graphical data regarding sales
- growth, gross margin, profit contribution, net working capital, and cash flow reporting.
- Maintain quarterly cash flow projections as well as all other ad-hoc financial reporting requests, including monthly and quarterly reporting, tax reporting, and intercompany balances and reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with established company-wide finance and accounting policies and procedures.
- 4-year degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and/or finance
- Strong track record exhibiting excellent analytical, critical thinking, and data-driven, creative problem-solving skills
- Able to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills
- Experience with Manufacturing Operations Cost Accounting
