About the Job
Responsibilities:

Act as a point of contact for external service providers and contractors supporting facility projects.
Coordinate and supervise the installation and repairs performed by contractors.
Supervise contracted workers to ensure project goals are met.
Ensure work complies with local codes, regulations, and quality standards.
Inspect completed installations and repairs for quality control.
Ensure compliance with safety and incident prevention plans (SIPP).
Manage change orders related to projects and lead tenders for new facility projects
Work with architects on project concepts, drawings, and permits.
Monitor project performance, including schedule, costs, quality, and risks.
Develop project scope and follow procurement processes for RFIs (Request for Information) and tenders.
Track project costs and work with procurement/accounting on purchase orders, invoices, and receipts. Ensure contractors meet contractual obligations
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Bachelor;s Degree or equivalent experience in Facilities Operations/Project Management/Engineer or related field
- 5+ years in Facilities or Construction Project Management maitnenance
- Ability to work with computer applications including Google Suite, Building Automation Systems, and computerized maintenance management systems
- Be able to read and understand facilities drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Able to work with heavy machinery and moving parts as well as able to work at heights from work platforms, ladders, and roofs of buildings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
