Opening with our client for a Site Civil Engineer.
This role involves performing a wide range of civil engineering design and project management tasks across diverse market sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects while ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage civil engineering projects across various market sectors, including site development, stormwater management, utilities, and environmental systems.
- Utilize AutoCAD/Civil 3D to prepare high-quality engineering plans and designs.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to develop and implement innovative solutions.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports, proposals, and other project documentation.
- Manage and lead permitting processes, including PA DEP Chapter 102 and Chapter 105 permits, and utility permitting.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and team members.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in New Jersey and/or Pennsylvania, or the ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
- Minimum of 5 years of civil engineering experience, with a focus on design, permitting, and project management.
- Experience with PA DEP Chapter 102 and Chapter 105 permitting, as well as utility permitting processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D software.
- Exceptional technical writing and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
