About the Job
We are currently seeking a Site Acquisition Manager for our telecom client supporting Indiana markets.
This is a long term contract position.
Duration: 18 months
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Pay Rate: $42-$44/hr
JOB SUMMARY
You will be responsible for all entitlement requirements of the telecommunications equipment deployment for the assigned job/sites and is the recognized leader and decision maker on all issues falling under the entitlement and pre-construction scopes of work. The SAM I provides support, forecasting, quality control for a project’s site development activities. This position contributes to the site acquisition team’s timely execution of real estate, design, zoning, permitting and compliance activities. It is intended that the SAM I will support the SAM II & SAM III team with site acquisition tasks, and Service Provider oversight during the completion of any and all assigned tasks. It is also intended that the SAM I will learn and eventually be able to work more complicated tasks/sites.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor degree preferred (4-year college degree) or equivalent work experience in the wireless site development industry.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in telecommunication Site Acquisition.
- Experience working with MLA partners and tower companies.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Negotiation and contract language review skills.
- Deep understanding of Real Estate practices and processes.
- Knowledge of LTE network design fundamentals.
- Telecommunications construction process knowledge a plus.
- Experience with Ericsson Ways of Working a plus.
