A position has opened up in Honeywell Industrial Automation for an ambitious Production Planning Leader. You will report to the Sr. Manager, SME AMER Supply Chain Planning with the opportunity to develop and demonstrate your planning skills and play an instrumental role in the success of the company.
As a Production Planning Manager, you will lead a team of Production Planners across the Nebraska City site for your assigned business. You will support your leaders to execute the vision and goals for your Production Planning function and manage the people and processes to achieve this.
You will partner with the SBG / CORP COE and SME's to deploy the Honeywell Global Design Model (GDM) and facilitate the full adoption of RapidResponse planning tools across your network.
You will oversee the monthly Production Planning process cycle for your Nebraska City, and ensure finished goods production plans align to the Nebraska City Supply Plans and achieve maximum customer satisfaction and ensure working capital remains within the business goals. You will ensure the network Capacity Plans and Constrained Master Production Schedules optimize the labour and machine resources whilst achieving the business goals for cost control, productivity and working capital.
You will be closely involved in product lifecycle events and transitions to ensure the network production strategy delivers on the product portfolio vitality goals. You will partner with the supply and materials planning leaders to create and execute your Nebraska City Production plans. You will attend monthly SIOP Supply Review meetings at the Nebraska City level to approve the Nebraska City production plans and to present these and the associated risks and mitigating plans to the Functional & Business leadership in the Supply Review Meetings. You will deputise for the Production Planning Dir/Snr Dir in the Reconciliation and Exec SIOP meetings.

Focusing on building a world-class team, utilizing and deploying Lean Six Sigma techniques, driving continuous improvement activities and achievement of superior performance across all KPIs (Key Performance Initiatives).
Job Responsibilities:
+ Review changes in the Net Demand Requirements / Supply Plan / DRP
+ Push In's and Pull Out's of Planned & Firm Production orders
+ Create Constrained MPS - Master Production Schedule for the site/network
+ Create and Review the site Rough Cut Capacity Plans (Cell, Prod Line etc)
+ Identify and address capacity constraints
+ Create consensus production plan
+ Actively resolving issues with demand, capacity constraints and material availability
+ Collaborate with Supply & Material planners to resolve issues
+ Close involvement with Prod Marketing for NPI/EOL/Promotion/Projects/Product Lifecycle
+ Active participant in std transition processes
+ Supports Inventory/Materials Planner in maintaining accurate planning parameters / material master data
+ Review of the Capacity and Constrained Supply plans in the SIOP cycle
+ Owning KPI's for supply - OTFP, Past Due, Site Inventory, MPS Load & Schedule Adherence
+ Deputize for the Dir/Snr Dir in all SIOP meetings where required
+ Coach, mentor and develop production your team for future progression within Honeywell
MUST HAVE
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Planning, operations planning/scheduling, materials management or other Sales Inventory & Operations Planning related functional area.
+ SAP knowledge and use
+ S&OP Knowledge
+ Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal & written communication skills.
+ English language preferable
+ Six Sigma Green Belt min
WE VALUE
+ Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in a related operations management or supply chain management or equivalent
+ Six Sigma Lean Expert
+ APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or CPF certification preferred
+ Proficient in Microsoft applications.
+ Strong organizational skills and ability to efficiently multi-task, prioritize, and delegate.
+ Ability to collaborate with both internal and external customers.
