Signage Director of Program/Project Management

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented leader for a Director of Program/Project Management position. Qualified candidates must come with a significant background in signage and a proven track record of leading successful teams. If you have 5 years of experience in signage project management, are a self-starter who excels at building client relationships, and are effective at executing signage projects from start to finish we want to hear from you.
As the Signage Director of Program/Project Management, you will play a pivotal role with our project management team, driving growth by being actively engaged, creative and bringing a sense of urgency to the finer details. Your ability to build and maintain a cohesive project management team, coupled with your expertise in signage, will be essential to your success in this role.
Signage Director of Program/Project Management Responsibilities:
- Lead the Program/Project Management staff to become an effective, positive, cooperative, motivated, and customer-focused team committed to excellence in serving clients.
- Deploy department resources to ensure customer success – work with VP, Client Services in the assignment of accounts and responsibilities to staff
- Create and maintain reports and KPI’s to evaluate the performance of Project Managers in the following areas:
- Effectiveness in project execution from start to finish
- Job profitability
- Warranty cost containment
- Customer service
- Customer satisfaction
- Order accuracy
- Work with the VP, Client Services and Executive Management to assist in the development of a professional staff encompassing the following:
- Team Structure – contribute to determine the best mix of department personnel to accommodate business needs
- Recruiting/Staffing – participate in the selection of Project Managers
- Training – lead the development and implementation of training programs to ensure new associates understand signage, working with subcontractors, and the systems/processes
- Lead and participate in the development and implementation of systems and processes to maintain a pool of qualified installation subcontractors, including the following elements:
- Recruiting
- Database management and maintenance
- Performance evaluation
- Cost control
- Develop and lead initiatives to monitor, evaluate, and improve relationships with customers including, but not limited to:
- Consistent participation in scheduled customer calls and meetings
- Development of relationships with key customer representatives
- Serving as the “voice of the customer”, providing unfiltered customer feedback to Sales and Project Management teams
- Creation of KPI’s, scorecards, and reports to provide visibility and insight into ASG’s effectiveness in meeting customer requirements
- Design and develop an annual review process for each customer including face-to-face client visits and customer appreciation Work collaboratively with Sales to foster continued revenue growth and account development
- Identify and explore opportunities for interior signage, maintenance, and other products and/or services to grow sales volume with existing customers
- Attend trade shows and participate in prospecting initiatives
- Assist in the review of pricing, drawings, and new designs/product offerings for existing customers
- Development and maintenance of an effective on-boarding process
- Customer service and project management profiles tailored to customer requirements
- Information management strategies/techniques appropriate for each customer
- Project Management processes and procedures to accomplish customer objectives
Collaborate with Sales to successfully transition new customers from prospects to well-managed accounts:
Signage Director of Program/Project Management Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the signage/graphics/retail/construction environment
- Significant experience serving multi-location customers with a nationwide footprint
- Team leadership of groups with 5 members
- Highly detail oriented with a natural sense of urgency
- Ability to lead a fully remote team
