We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Sign Fabrication Specialist to join our team. This full-time, on-site position involves the creation, assembly, and installation of various types of commercial signs. The ideal candidate will have experience in sign fabrication, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Job Requirements
Proven experience in commercial sign fabrication and installation.
Proficiency with tools and machinery used in sign making.
1-2 years of experience in sign fabrication preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand for long periods of time (6 hours or more)
Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate
Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work
Ability to use light power equipment
You Will Understand
Understanding measurements and manufacturing processes.
Working with rigid materials to create custom signage.
Cutting, Routing, Paint Prep, Sanding, Metal Work, Welding, Paint Mixing.
Operate and maintain equipment such as C.N.C Router, Grinders, Welders, Shear, etc.
Follow a layout to place dimensional or full-color graphic image(s) on a predetermined substrate or medium
Prepare substrates for vinyl application to include sanding, cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc.
Fabrication of metal and other rigid substrates to complete sign builds. (Aluminum, Steel).
Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work
Order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standards.
Maintaining a safe work environment when working with tools, drills, and cutters.
Perform finishing operations such as pre-package after paint has cured and prepare for installation.
