We are looking for a friendly and reliable person. Your primary duties will be to transport airport passengers to and from airport parking facilities safely. We expect our drivers to be amiable, helpful, and professional at all times, assisting customers with their luggage and answering any questions they may have. You must have a valid license to operate a shuttle, a clean driving record, and the willingness to work nights and weekends. Prior shuttle bus driving experience is a plus.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
HS Diploma or five years of shuttle driving experience and must be at least 21 years of age
- Reading: Average Level: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret, federal, state, and local transportation regulations as well as reports and procedures.
- Communication: Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently (DOT Requirement)
- Math: Average Level: Ability to add, subtract, divide and multiply.
- Writing: Average Level: Ability to write statements/reports.
- Technical Skill: Knowledge of all working functions of a shuttle bus, ADA lifts, wheelchair securement, GPS, video/audio camera, proper stowage, and securement of luggage
- Customer Service Experience: Proper greeting of customers, proper etiquette with ADA passenger, proper handling of upset customers, promoting the company APP, benefits, and programs.
- Physical: Must be willing to pass a physical as part of the selection process as required by airport, federal DOT and/or state regulations.
- Licenses & Endorsements: Must possess the appropriate license, endorsements and or medical certification to operate a shuttle bus. Have a good driving record. Must have excellent verbal communication skills. Must be able to work in a team environment.
Physical Demands
Drivers work in physically demanding environment. Lifting luggage, prolonged sitting and frequent standing are a normal part of the job. All drivers must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Continuously requires vision, hearing and talking. Frequently requires standing, sitting, handling and foot controls. Occasionally requires fine dexterity, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing/pulling, bending and twisting. Rarely requires, kneeling and climbing.
Machines, Tools, Equipment and Work Aids: motor vehicle operation, two-way radios, smart phone.
Environmental Factors: Exposure to noise and vibration and physical hazards. Seasonal exposure to extreme temperature and wetness and/or humidity
Non-Physical Demands
Occasionally requires emergency situations, irregular schedule/overtime, tedious or exacting work, and noisy/distracting environment.

Responsibilities
- Report to work on time and in uniform.
- Conduct shuttle pre-trip inspection, properly complete the pre-trip inspection form, report deficiencies, log passenger counts and accurately complete all reports/form.
- Greet each customer with a smile, provide pleasant customer service, offer assistance with luggage and be available to customer for customer service-related questions and issues.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the facility and airport terminals.
- Cooperate with all team members to provide the best possible service.
- Must be able to answer inquiries about all rates services and promotions.
- Utilize etiquette and professionalism during interactions with customer and in the work- place.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of customer luggage.
- Knowledge of airport roads and terminal locations to allow for expeditious drop-off and pick-up.
- Implementation and recognition of defensive/safe driving techniques.
- Assisting ADA passengers.
- Communicate effectively with other drivers and dispatchers/supervisors to ensure effective fleet operations.
- Compliance with federal, state and local agency regulations in regard to the transport of passengers to/from the airport.
- Maintain clean and orderly shuttle bus.
- Report any operational issues with customers, airport conditions, road & traffic problem.
- Ability and willingness to perform the following job functions– valet, bus washing and facility cleanliness.
- Provide customer satisfaction.
- Comply with company rules, policies and standard operating procedures/company’s handbook.
- Maintain communication with the supervisor on duty.
- Report all incidents/accidents to the supervisor on duty.
