About the Job
Spare Parts Administrative Assistant – Seffner (<10% domestic travel possibility)
Reports to: Tanya Farr- Spare Parts Administration Manager
Use your interpersonal skills to foster working relationships with spare parts managers, merchandise buyers, operations teams, parts vendors & suppliers, and other stakeholders to execute department objectives & goals. Review vendor documentation to identify spare parts for setup in our systems, compare parts to identify interchangeable items, and perform data entry to continuously update our software with correct information. Use your strong organization skills and attention to detail to ensure data is kept current and correct. Follow procedures with a high level of attention to detail. Provide feedback during the development and implementation of internal procedures and applications.
Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience with data entry, or related office experience. Microsoft office, including Excel skills are a must-have.
- Quick typing & data entry accuracy ability.
- Experience with Rooms To Go product lines is a plus. Basic knowledge of furniture construction would be helpful as well.
- Above average written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organization with the ability to follow work priorities. Proactive and functional in a dynamic environment. *
- Ability to quickly shift between tasks.
- Ability to conduct research between multiple sources to verify data. You will need to learn and utilize a variety of Rooms To Go software.
- Proactive approach to learning new concepts and utilizing resources.
- Great people skills and the ability to be personable and professional.?
Work location
- Seffner, FL
- Some domestic travel could be required, but would be infrequent (<10%)
