The Show Director will focus on strategic planning, effective sales management and exceptional customer experience, delivering profitable growth for Digital Dealer & DealerPoint
Digital Dealer events include DealerPoint (held in the spring) and Dealer Conference & Expo (held in the fall). DealerPoint offers VIP, curated experience based on a dealerships unique business needs and objectives, with customized agendas and targeted networking. Digital Dealer Conference & Expo features 75+ actionable sessions, cutting-edge solutions, and unparalled experiences. The Expo attracts dealerships and innovative auto retail solution providers from across the US. In 2.5 days, dealerships gain key insights into emerging trends and discover cutting-edge strategies, ideas, and auto retail solutions for immediate and long-term success.
The role will focus on growing existing revenue channels and delivering new products and services. A strong and experienced leader, the show director will lead the brand strategy, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an exceptional audience and vendor experience onsite and year-round.
This position will be based out of our Alpharetta, GA office.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Target Compensation: $90,000-100,000 (bonus eligible)
Please note that this range reflects a reasonable estimate of the target compensation for this position. This range may ultimately vary based on a candidate's qualifications and may be higher where required by applicable law.

Responsibilities
- Lead long-term strategic brand and event planning including timelines and project plans to ensure all event products accurately reflect and engage their markets and achieve financial goals and business objectives
- Lead annual financial planning and quarterly forecasting for the Group P&L including media and events
- Determine product offering(s) needed and associated pricing strategies
- Develop annual sales plan in support of the event and media strategy and objectives
- Manage the floorplan to maximize revenue opportunities, customer experience and attendee flow
- Implement effective rebooking processes and on-site sales strategies
- Work collaboratively with marketing and event operations teams to develop creative onsite content to engage customers and ensure that pre-show communication, collateral and materials are accurate and on message
- Develop, propose and plan new event activities to help drive show attendance and add value
- Lead year-round customer experience strategy
- Manage post-event debrief process, responding to feedback, implementing improvements
- Ensures high-quality onsite experience for both exhibitors and attendees reflected in above average NPS scores
- Support the development of the audience and sales marketing plans in partnership with marketing team
- Data-driven approach to problem solving, especially under time constraints and in challenging situations
- Ability to engage effectively and build trust with the internal and external stakeholders and customers
- Possesses a strategic and collaborative mindset with ability to negotiate
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner; strong ability to motivate, influence and lead a team
