Spray Concrete nozzleman $33-$36Hr Orlando FL

• Responsible for the shotcrete crew members and ensuring each is upholding their responsibilities for shotcrete operations.
• Regularly inspects and maintains nozzle(s) and hoses for application of said concrete to insure proper and installation and safety.
• Assist shotcrete crew in set up/break down of jobsite tools and equipment.
• Basic knowledge of shotcreting equipment and types of wet mix materials.
• Safely operate power equipment/hand tools while performing duties as instructed.
• Demonstrated ability and techniques required for vertical vs. overhead placement, compaction and proper encasement of rebar affect the quality of the shotcrete.
• Perform shotcrete placement following proper sequence to minimize rebound and overspray entrapment.
• Ensure all areas to receive shotcrete are clean, sound, and free of loose materials, and that anchors, reinforcement, and rebar structure is properly placed and blocked for proper clearance meeting our standard steel specifications.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience spray/nozzle shotcreting.
• Able to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
• Comfortable from excessive heights with high reach equipment/scaffolding elevations.

Preferred:

• Certified Nozzleman with American Concrete Institute (ACI) or American Shotcrete Association (ASA)
• Bilingual in English/Spanish
