We are a distinguished heavy-duty equipment dealership actively seeking skilled Diesel Equipment Technicians to join our dynamic team. - Technical school certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical repairs
- Strong mechanical skills
- Good understanding of equipment operations and mechanical functions
- Ability to perform repairs on all major equipment systems

- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills
- Good computer proficiency

Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience as a heavy equipment technician
- Mechanical experience, preferably on forklifts, construction equipment, or farm equipment
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical problems
- Basic computer skills and laptop fundamentals
- Must have own tools
Responsibilities: As a Shop Service Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Completing all service jobs assigned
- Documenting all recommended additional repairs and working with the Shop Foreman on preparing quotes for customers
- Communicating with the Shop Foreman, Shop Lead, and/or Shop Manager on any unusual service problems encountered or for any technical assistance needed
- Attending service training classes to maintain knowledge on new products or for refreshers on products not encountered frequently
- Completing and submitting all paperwork daily for jobs worked on (time cards, maintenance reports, etc.)
- Communicating with the Shop Foreman regarding the status of assigned jobs
- Offering assistance to other shop techs, as appropriate
- Keeping the shop clean and organized, promptly cleaning up spills (oil, etc.)
- Always adhering to safety rules and policies
Compensation: $25-$36/hr (based on experience) Benefits
