About the Job
HOLT CAT in Cleburne, Texas is seeking a experienced Heavy Equipment Shop Service Technician. Must have no less than 3 years of shop or field experience, and on working on heavy construction equipment. This position is responsible for providing high-quality repair service on heavy equipment in a shop environment, in order to respond to customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner and to ensure maximum value for work performed. The hours of the position are Monday- Friday - 7 AM - 4 PM. A Sign On Bonus of up to $5,000 is available for those qualified.
Qualifications:
A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities:
- Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs correctly in the shop such as pumps, hydraulics, engine, transmissions, HVAC, and electrical issues and repairs.
- At least 1 year of field or shop service tech troubleshooting and repair skills of heavy equipment such as dozers, backhoes, front-end loaders, excavators, etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment using electronic and manual equipment to determine failure.
- Able to document all work orders properly
- Must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose Tier 4 systems.
- High School Diploma or GED Preferred.
- Must have steady employment.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have the ability to obtain a forklift license.
Ability to frequently reach, bend, walk, etc.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs approximately 5 times a day.
Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is required.
- Excellent attendance is required.
- Must be able to work Mon-Friday; 7 AM-4 PM.
- Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Must have own tools.
