About the Job
TheShop Service Supervisor will be the hub of cycling all company equipment and vehicles through the facility and ensuring readiness for the next job. Working with the maintenance manager and alongside the Equipment Services team, the service supervisor uses top-level communication and organizational skills to prep and turn the fleet for Sundt's rapidly evolving project needs.
Basic Job Functions:
Manage incoming vehicle and equipment turnaround at shop facility locations. Manage and coordinate shop facility work orders in ERP system.
Schedule, prioritize, and assign work with shop service technicians.
Support the equipment fleet through use of telematics, fluid analysis, and other resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process work orders for vehicle and heavy equipment repairs and maintenance performed at the shop
• Serve as alternate support for equipment utilization data analytics, equipment batch auditing, and telematics management.
• Create, assign, progress, and close corrective work orders for repairs performed at shop locations.
• Oversee parts procurement for shop location repairs.
• Coordinate fluid sampling and analysis with manufacturers.
• Coordinate incoming vehicle and equipment intake, cleaning, inspection, repair, and readiness at shop facility locations.
• Coordinate work and assign to shop technicians to ensure efficiency and reduce downtime of vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain inventory of machine control and survey assets in concert with machine control specialists and survey managers.
• Serve as technical resource for field lube technicians and mechanics with ERP process and training.
• Participate in department process improvement projects.
• Process craft payroll. Experience with Oracle Enterprise 1, nice to have.
• Other responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Job Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED
• 2 or more years prior experience in shop office operations or similar experience at heavy equipment dealership or contractor.
• Experience coordinating work for service personnel.
• Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs

Physical Requirements:
1. Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day
2. Occasionally will climb stairs, ladders, etc
3. Will lift, push or pull objects on an occasional basis
4. Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis
5. Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
6. May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
7. May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
8. Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.)
9. Will interact with people frequently during a shift/work day
10. May use telephone, computer system, email, or other electronic devices on a limited basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors
