Job Summary:
The HIS-Shop Parts Coordinator is responsible for researching, quoting, ordering, pick/pack/staging parts, inspecting parts, process parts warranty claims and returning parts/cores in support of the Service Department to include outlying branches. This position will also be responsible for completing regularly scheduled inventory functions and cleanliness of the parts warehouse.
The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.
Essential Functions:
- Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
- Ensure that appropriate parts are available and order as necessary for the service department
- Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness of warehouse
- Process credits as needed
- Process parts warranty claims
- Assist the parts counter and will call customers
- Deliver parts as needed to job sites and customer locations
- Perform parts inventory functions up to, but not limited to; daily bin and cycle counts, performing service truck inventory counts, putting up stock orders, receiving parts back orders, and pick/pack/staging of all parts orders.
- Ordering of oil, coolant, chemicals, general/safety supplies for the Parts & Service departments
- Transferring parts from warehouse to truck inventory.
- Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
- Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Knowledge and proficiency with current computer software such as Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No experience necessary
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Travel:
- Minimal training related travel required for this position
- Daily travel varies depending on delivering of parts to customers and field technicians in a company vehicle
- Valid Driver’s license required
- Safe driving history required
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to move objects, and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue
- Significant amount of time standing, walking and sitting
- Minimal amount of time kneeling, crouching, stooping, climbing, crawling, balancing, and reaching
- Constant movement and use of hands, this position requires good manual dexterity
- Communicates with customers, service managers, and co-workers
- Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work
- Occasionally lifts and moves materials and equipment up to 65 lbs
- Ascends/descends with gradual or continuous progress by oneself, using both hands and feet, and climbs up and down ladders and/or equipment
Work Environment:
- Regularly works indoors
- Occasionally outdoors, or under cover
- Exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable
- Works in an enclosed and open vehicle or equipment
- Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment
